Dr. Ronald Quintia opened his solo practice in oral and maxillofacial surgery in March 1993. He brought with him 4 years of general dental practice experience as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Indian Health Service. His residency and fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery were completed at the Oregon Health Sciences University from 1982-1986. He has been in private practice in Tucson since July 1986. Board certification as a Diplomante of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons was achieved in 1989 He is a Fellow in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr Quintia is the Division Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St Mary's Hospital.. His is on the staff at Tucson Medical Center. He has been on the staff of every east side hospital as well as UMC and Kino Hospital. He is a Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona Medical Center. He is a member of many professional societies and associations and has been on the board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tucson.
The office practice has been designed for comfort, privacy and safety. The operation suites are spacious and well equipped. The consultation area and business office offer convenience and privacy for our patients to discuss appointments and financial/insurance matters. Recovery from surgery is provided in and area equipped for emergencies and easy discussion of post operative care. Sterilization of all surgical instrumentation and sanitation of the operating rooms meets or exceeds the highest standards mandated by OSHA.
